The International Conference on Secure Digital Technologies and Intelligent Engineering (SDTIE2026) will be held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Almaty, Kazakhstan, on October 15–17, 2026.

SDTIE2026 is planned as the first edition of an annual international academic conference series hosted by Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The conference will bring together researchers, academics, engineers, PhD students, young scientists, industry professionals and international partners working in the fields of secure digital technologies, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and intelligent engineering systems.

The central theme of the conference is the development of secure, intelligent and trustworthy digital technologies for science, education, industry and society. Cybersecurity, cryptology and digital trust will serve as cross-cutting themes, while the broader scope of the conference will also cover artificial intelligence, data science, social cybersecurity, software engineering, digital platforms, wireless technologies, IoT, smart energy systems, quantum technologies, digital twins and smart manufacturing.

SDTIE 2026 aims to become a stable annual platform for scientific exchange, international collaboration, publication opportunities, young researchers’ development, academic networking and cooperation between Kazakhstan, Central Asia and international research communities.

The main objectives of SDTIE2026 are:

•to establish an annual international academic platform on secure digital technologies and intelligent engineering

•to present new research results in cybersecurity, AI, cryptology, digital transformation and engineering systems

•to support collaboration between universities, research institutes, industry and international partners

•to promote high-quality research by young scientists, PhD students and early-career researchers

•to strengthen academic cooperation between Kazakhstan, Central Asia and the wider international research community

•to create opportunities for joint publications, research projects, workshops and future scientific partnerships.
